‘The Moorings’ are an Irish Traditional, World Music, and Jazz collective, consisting of the top traditional, world music & amp; jazz players in Ireland. Our goal is to use the resources of the contemporary Irish Musical landscape to reimagine and reinterpret our rich musical heritage.

The Moorings have worked with international artists including Eddi Reader, Lisa Lambe, Jack O Rourke, and Elanor McEvoy, and enlisted many more of Ireland’s top musicians. They look forward to continuing their exploration at the creative edge of Ireland’s music-making, with further concerts scheduled for 2019 around Ireland, in Spain and in Norway.
