Shine Light.From the west coast of Ireland to the great big wounded world. A short music movie, filmed in Maumturk, directed by musician Larry Beau in collaboration with actress Olwen Fouéré, designer Alison Conneely and cinematographer Roman Bogovskiy, all Galway natives. The project is in support of FOCUS Ireland. Shine Light is also the debut single from Larry beau’s forthcoming album and is currently on the RTE Radio 1 playlist recommendations. The Art Trail is a numbered window exhibition taking place in Clifden Town as part of Clifden Arts Festival. Start at Market Square, going downthe right-hand side of Market Street, then head towards the Clifden Station House Courtyard and then back onto the Galway Road. Turn left onto Bridge Street heading towards Market Street again. On Market Street, keepto your right-hand side, heading towards Main Street and coming back again to Market Square. The Art Trail runs from 17th - 25th September. Clifden Arts Festival has commissioned three shorts by local videographer Barry Ryan. These films represent the importance of community Arts endeavours from young musicians, teachers and mentors to the profound power of the visual arts that pulses through the local Connemara Community. These shorts will available on the Festival's Channel on the lead up to the Festival. Dear Friends, We are proud to be able to finally announce who will be appearing at the 43rd Clifden Arts Festival this year. The Festival will run from September 17th-22th. This year all Tickets can only be bought online at clifdenartsfestival.ie. They will not be available at the box office. Ensure you book your tickets in advance of the performance or event, as seating capacity is limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. No patrons can be admitted without a valid ticket.
